A (very) technical report detailing obstacles and solutions to finding synaptic parametrizations for the Dynap-SE board which endow its dynamics with relatively long impulse response characteristics, needed for obtaining useful "reservoirs" from this hardware. Semester project of Master student Tianlin Liu at Jacobs University.
